Persol is re-channeling their biker-chic side. In October, they release the Steve McQueen collection, an exclusive line of limited edition sunglasses inspired by the iconic 20th century motorist. With a charismatic personality, McQueen was known as much for his cool disposition as for his unique style that included padded motorcycle sweatshirts, a Belstaff jacket, and riveting sunglasses. Persol’s foldaway sunglasses were made famous by the countless pictures taken of Steve in the 60s, as well as his appearance in the original Thomas Crown Affair. This particular style was a trademark pair for him. Exclusively at Sunglass Hut stores nationwide, this updated classic will come in a variety of new color combinations, including this tortoise frame with blue lenses.
