STYLE WATCH: PLAYING FOR KEEPS

Although the temperature outside says it's still very much Summer, believe it or not, Fall is nipping at your cute heels. And I am sure you are thinking, "I just spent all this money on a new Summer wardrobe, now I have to save for some new Fall threads"? Fear not, there are several trends that will transition into the cool autumn nights. Not sure what to wear when the weather gets a bit chilly? Incorporate some of our Summer favs to keep your Fall wardrobe on-trend while saving on your Must Have splurge items.

1. MAD ABOUT PLAID. Plaid isn't going anywhere. The same plaids that you wore with your jean cut-offs this summer can be worn with a pair of dark denim skinny jeans this fall and winter. Add a fun solid scarf to add a twist to your favorite button up shirt! (Jessica Alba and Jess Simpson are glad this trend is stickin' around!)

2. LATE BLOOMER. Maybe you haven't quite got onboard the Floral train, well now is your chance! Hop on board this trend because even into October it's still gonna be in full bloom. The Spring sensational floral dresses can be paired with a blazer and some booties to get a Fall makeover. (Jessica Biel is a huge fan of the floral trend, so we expect to see her showing off her stems this autumn!)

3. FRINGE BENEFITS. Yes, there are a few benefits to this trend. The G.I. Jane meets Bohemian beauty of the fringe handbag in camel and neutral colors are still gonna be huge this fall. The studded details are slowly disappearing in clothing, but are sticking around in accessories because of the military appeal. (Vanessa Hudgens will be excited to hear this news, she always looks so posh with her over-sized fringe bag.)

4. WALKING IN HIS SHOES. Like the old saying, "walk a day in his shoes", Hollywood starlets like Kate Moss and Nicole Richie are taking an item inspired by their own boyfriend's closets. The laced up pennyloafer is gonna be the flat of choice this fall. Great paired with opaque tights for a modern remix on the saddle shoe!

5. SKY HIGH. Over the knee boots are not going anywhere. Step into this trend and get a pair of fabulous thigh-hi boots to wear over skinny jeans or give your LBD a lil makeover- think Angelina Jolie in Salt meets Fergie! This trend's popularity last fall was seen all over again on the runways from Milan to Paris!

6. RED RED WINE. Deep crimson and oxblood rule the scene this holiday season. Indulge in the cranberry trend to balance off the grey and the chocolate browns that now complete the basic palette. Add a splash of this divine color in accessories to be RED hot! (Sienna Miller is scorching in red!)

7. MAKING WAVES. Feminine details transition into your fall wardrobe. Have fun being girlie, after all, it's what makes men love us the most. Dress to flatter your body shape. Don't go crazy head to toe ruffles, but adorn your body to stay well proportioned. Fans of this ruffle trend are Emmy Rossum and Olivia Palermo.

8. GIDDY-UP. These saddlebags do not need hours in the gym, instead they need hours of shopping on Rodeo in style! The 80's handbag that was oh-so-popular back in the day are stickin' around another season, so embrace this trend with true classic style. (Katie Holmes and Kiera Knightley love this handbag trend!)
